Casa de Paz
The primary goal of Casa de Paz is welcoming newcomers who have been recently released from immigration detainment, those seeking asylum, and immigrants while fostering dignified reunifications with loved ones.
This organization includes:
The Welcome Team, who are responsible for receiving immigrants that have been released from ICE detention in Aurora, CO. Those released are provided meals, telephones, computers, hygiene care, and transportation.
Cartas De Paz, which is a program that connects people with immigrants currently detained somewhere in the United States in hopes of creating friendships through correspondence.
Visitation Program that provides detainees with much needed company during their time in ICE detainment.
International Rescue Committee
The IRC works to provide opportunities for a variety of persecuted immigrants to build a life in the United States. Through collaborations with "government bodies, civil society actors, and local volunteers," (IRC, 2025) the IRC assist refugees arriving in Denver in a variety of ways.

LFSRM
The Lutheran Families Services Rocky Mountain is a faith-based, nonprofit organization centered in supporting immigrant families by helping to fulfill unmet needs. This includes assisting refugees with reintegrating into their new communities and providing legal counsel on a multitude of immigration cases. Their Colorado offices are located in Colorado Springs, Denver, Fort Collins, and Greeley.

Catholic Charities of Central Colorado
There are several resources the Catholic Charities of Central Colorado provide for their fellow Coloradans. The most relevant to the present issues are their immigration resources. Their Family Immigration Services work to offer affordable, quality legal help to "low-income individuals and families living within Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, and surrounding regions," (Catholic Charities of Central Colorado). Catholic Charities of Central Colorado's immigration legal aid program has been recognized by the Department of Justice, which ensures the help you get is through accredited representatives.

El Refugio
Based in Aurora, CO, El Refugio is an immigration firm who specializes in defending asylum removals. However, they also provide services for cases including:

Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition
CIRC is a membership-based coalition comprised of many organizations revolving around immigrant, labor, interfaith, and youth groups. With an objective aimed at the improvement of immigrant lives, CIRC works with their community through offering various educational programs and workshops, as well as advocating for policy changes. CIRC also aids in DACA renewals, legal consultations, citizenship applications, and many more.

ACLU of Colorado
As Colorado's oldest and largest civil rights organization, the ACLU of Colorado functions to fight for the civil liberties of citizens of the state. This is accomplished through their work in litigation, providing educational courses, and advocating for the rights of those marginalized in our society.
ACLU of Colorado possesses a legal department that receives legal aid requests and investigates as necessary, files lawsuits on behalf of individuals who have had their rights violated, and work to litigate cases.
They, much like many of the other organizations listed, also provide "Know Your Rights" trainings.

Educational Resources
Chicanos Por La Causa
CPLC Colorado is a nonprofit organization helping Latino and immigrant families navigate their new lives. A huge responsibility for parents is finding quality, safe education for their developing children. Chicanos Por La Causa runs seven early childhood centers- called Head Start- in the cities of Pueblo, Trinidad, and Walensburg. These centers are free and provides early education for young children.

The purpose of the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition's immigrant preparation packet is to increase security, stability, and mental health through personal organization. It is not intended as means of defense against deportation. Essentially, it is a resource that helps keep all of your information in one place, effectively preparing you and your loved ones in case of any intervention from immigration authorities.
American Friends Service Committee
The AFSC believes in working with people of all religious faiths and backgrounds towards the common goal of confronting injustice. Peace and equality for all is their primary agenda. As a group of activists, the AFSC has several programs across the country. Colorado Immigrant Rights is one of these groups, functioning to aid immigrants in resisting deportation, promoting positive narratives, and advocating for policy change.
